I spend 350.00 a MONTH with a teen and a 20 year old and myself.
I wish I had that to spend weekly. That would be a God Send especially here at the Holidays.

I love this book. I think the idea is to show what the typical family spends on. I think is normal for most families to order in, drink soda and buy a lot of prepackaged food. I think the prices may be a little inflated, though. I used to eat like this when I lived in NYC, but I didn’t spend even close to that amount! And goodness! The Mongolian table is so small!!

Wow, that table is amazing. We spend less but there's just the two of us. I do notice that our bill goes up when I'm more busy. Not by too much because there are few pre-made foods we like. But like instead of making soup we buy or instead of making spaghetti sauce we'll buy. Both are cheaper to make. I think that our bill is also lower because we are so boring. Cedar is like me and likes rice, veggies, fruit, bread that kind of stuff. He does like fruit snacks -- but you can make those in a solar humidifier, it takes a while though. I'll have to check out that link. This is an interesting post.
