Handbags and shoes – why? I have no flipping idea, but I do know that plenty of online shops and print magazines note that this is true. Being neither a handbag or shoe fan, I can’t personally vouch for this. Do you know?
Anything and everything related to Mother’s Day: In early May all sorts of stuff that any mom might like goes on sale. This means trips to spas, massages, jewelry, and other special gifts and events. If it’s something a mama might adore, there’s a good chance you can find it on sale.
Summer gear: Now, before summer is in full gear is a great time to pick up kid’s swimming pools, bottles of kids bubbles, fans, water bottles, and other related summer gear. Soon people will be scooping these items up, stores run low, and prices may go up. Shop now to beat summer heat and prices.
Consumer Reports notes that May is a good time to buy:
- Athletic apparel and shoes (hey, there are the shoes again!)
- Cordless phones
- Small consumer electronics
