Yesterday, I talked about what happens when free stuff isn’t really free. After reading some of the comments, I’ve come to the conclusion that a list in order. The best free sites – and by free sites I mean sites that offer stuff for free. Not stuff that takes pages and pages of offers to complete, or require shipping charges.
What are your favorite free sites and why? Tell us in the comments, I’ll check them out and if they’re worthy add them to the list.

Nice follow-up, Deborah! I’d be curious to see what others can offer, but here are a few of my favorites:
http://www.nojunkfree.com/
My favorite. Nicely organized with full explanations. Lotsa offers.

Another very solid and professional site. You have to register but they get some great top-name brand samples. Very limited quantities though, so you have to work it.

You have to sort of weed through some of the “junk” but there’s a lot of offers.
http://www.teenfreeway.com/
Used to be a lot better, but still has some good offers if you have a teenager at home.
That’s probably my top picks of good ones.
This is a site I really like, she posts a lot of freebies everyday. http://www.cafemom.com/group/freebiesrock
try this one… samplescoop.com… it’s awesome!
almost forgot… Twistedbranches.com sooo much good stuff on here!

A combo site that aggregates results – the best around IMHO
I do a Freebie Friday on my blog and weed through the junk and just post the good stuff each Friday. I hate wasting time going through the stuff so I thought I would do it for someone else. It has been popular because people hate wasting time.
I love Dealtaker.com. They have a “free stuff” forum that separates really free items from freebies with a catch.
My main problem is that most freebies are for US residents only. I’m Canadian. It wouldn’t be so bad if the sites at least listed who it’s open too. Many times I’ve clicked a link excited only see US only.
I agree a lot of freebies to get them you are asked to apply for 1 or 2 gold offers or silver ones along with credit card info. to bad there isnt a web that askes for your opion on their product and sent you a sample and you let them know how you liked it or offer ways to change it after we are the consumers that keep them in business right. pepermint_661
