When Popular Name Brands Become Thrifty

Isaac Mizrahi pantsTarget has done a great job of making some popular name brands thrifty.  Now you can walk into Target and pick up some things by Isaac Mizrahi or Liz Lange for reasonable prices.  And then if they’re on clearance, that’s even better!

Now Vera Wang will be adding her own line of thrifty garments to Kohl’s.  Vera Wang, who is known for her line of wedding gowns, will be offering her chic dress designs to Kohl’s customers for only $69.

Gwen Stefani will also be expanding her L.A.M.B. line to include fragrances sold by Coty Inc.

I am looking forward to more popular name brands becoming affordable for us all.

P.S.  Check out Isaac Mizrahi’s clothing at Target.com right now.  I saw some clearance stuff and there is free shipping on select clearance orders over $25.

I also love consignment chain Plato’s closet for trendy, namebrand clothes at a fraction of the retail price.

I’ve never heard of it. Are these stores located up north?

How cool is that. It’s about time Us poor folk got to look rich real cheap just as we always do at Wal-Mart.

We have a Plato’s Closet where I live as well. It’s a greta place to find Hollister’s and A&F for cheap!

I’ll have to look in the phone book and see if we have a Plato’s Closet. You know that I’ve lived in many places of VA and NC and have never seen one. I wouldn’t care for buying any Hollister and A&F stuff though, no matter how cheap it is. Anyway, I should check to see if we have one. I really need to make more time to visit Good Will. I haven’t been in months and every time I go I find good clothing.
