Hi, I used to subscribe to a website that would search grocery store circulars and would let you know what items you can get for free or at the best savings each week. Unfortunately I cant remember the name of the website, but it did save me a lot of money. Has anyone ever heard of this?

[...] Yesterday I went to the grocery store. I got 18+ pounds of hamburger, 3 pounds of boneless chicken breast, 6 cans of chicken noodle soup, 1 gallon of milk, some grapes and bananas and I only spent $32. Oh yeah! Gotta love those rainchecks. The ground beef, chicken breasts, and soup were buy ahead/stockpile items. [...]

I personally love stockpiling. There always comes that month when you are a little short on cash and need some essential (for me it is usually hair products); due to planning and smarts, I stockpiled with coupons, so no worries. Another favorite of my mine is when I get gift cards to Bath and Body Works; I wait for their huge sales and stockpile like crazy. I haven't had to buy lotion or body wash for the past two years and I still have like 10 more bottles in storage. Love stockpiling!!

Love your comment! You're so right. Stockpiling saves money, time, and aggravation. I have four totes in my shed with gift items. I buy ahead for my children's birthdays. I buy toys when they are 50-75% off and save them. They get better gifts this way.

Stockpiling food saves us a lot of money and aggravation. I plan meals around what I've got stockpiled. I also stockpile gifts for children's birthday parties. Our local job lot had beautiful boxed sets of childen's hardcover books for $3.99. I bought 10 of these boxes. I found Tinkerbell dresses marked down from $25 to $5 after Christmas one year. I bought the last two on the shelf. I have a stockpile of children's games that I paid about $3 for. My mom gives me her Sunday paper each week. I get my coupons that way and also save the comic section each week. We use the comics to wrap gifts and I never have to buy gift wrap for children's gifts. Of course I have a stockpile of Christmas wrap and recycled gift bags for the holidays. As much as I like saving money with stockpiling, I think the time and aggravation that it saves me is even more valuable. Stockpiling simplifies my life.
