Did you know that the US Dept of Energy has a blog?!? Yes, they do. It’s called Energy Savers Blog. And a recent post is about Putting Energy Efficiency on Your Holiday Shopping List. Blogger Eric has shared some of the things on his very own eco-friendly Christmas wish list.

Lynn at the blog Smiling Green Mom created lyrics to The 12 Green Days Of Christmas. Try singing it!

Jennifer (yes, formerly of this blog) at Growing a Green Family has a very beautiful post on Eco-friendly Holiday Gift Wrap.

ecosalon is giving you ideas with From Cheap to Chic, 10 Holiday Gifts That Respect the Earth.

ecofabulous is sharing insights on green Christmas decorating in Holiday Decor: More Than Your Tree Can Be Green! They even show you where to get ornaments made from reclaimed milk containers.

Stop Global Warming over at change.org provides some ideas on books that help explain global warming to kids. Visit Katherine’s post: For Kids, Books that Demystify Climate Change.

I had no idea the energy department had a blog! How cool! I will definitely be sharing this with the readers on my blog. This makes the energy department just a wee bit cool doesn’t it?

Sheri, I know. It makes them seem more modern :)
