Widows Quest

A Letter to A Grieving Heart

My dearest heart,

I hear you cry during the night, I hear you ache for the hug that will say that your partners heart was still beating next to you, I hear you beat each moment fighting that desire to give up and join the heart you are missing. You are my soul and my way of living through this grief. I understand your pain and will be there for you. You need my support at this tragic time. I will feed you well, I will exercise to keep you healthy and I hope that one day we will come through together…. You were born to love and I need to find a way to encourage you to risk opening your feelings again. After all, a heart was born to love, with love comes risk but with risk comes the chance of falling in love again.thankunote.jpg

Keep beating, keep taking one day at a time….I will be there when you  are ready to live again.

This was nice and touching to read, Anna, as well as the one that preceded it. May we someday be so fortunate to find love again, eh?

Hey, many have….and at least we know how to love. Wouldn’t it be lovely if two people met through Widows Quest!

We just got to keep believing….

I lost my husband 9 months ago. I always believed that each person had just one soul mate. He was my best friend and the love of my life. I even prayed God would allow me to join him but God had other plans. Then, a ghost from 18 years past showed up. He has shown me that I can still feel and smile and yes, even love. There is a chance for happiness again. No matter how much you feel that you will never love again, don’t give up hope. I wish I had read this months ago. Thank you.

Oh Stephanie that is wonderful. I always say our hearts need love, our hearts were born to love and even when we lose those close to us we should find a way of loving in the future as a way of paying back the strength of our heart in coping with the pain….
