An issue for widows

I have jsut been reading that there are 10x more widows in the UK than widowers. I suppose it makes sense as women live longer than men…but it made me think. I believe it may explain why men seem to receive more support. It seems harder for us as a society to see a man grieve than a woman. Somehow people believe our emotional side will allow us to grieve and survive easier. But then if there are fewer there is more support to go round!![]()
No matter the gender grief is hard, let make sure that as we receive support we give back to the world as well…..just like a bank account, the more we put in the more we receive.
