An issue for widows

I have jsut been reading that there are 10x more widows in the UK than widowers. I suppose it makes sense as women live longer than men…but it made me think. I believe it may explain why men seem to receive more support. It seems harder for us as a society to see a man grieve than a woman. Somehow people believe our emotional side will allow us to grieve and survive easier. But then if there are fewer there is more support to go round!
No matter the gender grief is hard, let make sure that as we receive support we give back to the world as well…..just like a bank account, the more we put in the more we receive.
