Angeline Jolie on Grief

I was reading an article on Teenhollywood.com in which Angeline Jolie talks about her grief over the loss of her mother. I was interested in the advice that her ex husband gave her, Billy Bob Thornton said to her

‘You’ll never get over it. It’s never going to be Ok, and once you accept that, youwater-lilies.jpg realise you never want to get over it.’”

“He said, ‘Just kind of let it sit with you, and let it be a part of who you now are.’”

I think the last part of letting the grief be part of you is a lovely way of coping with bereavement.
