Widows Quest

Answers or Questions?

I think when we grieve we are constantly searching for answers to what has happened. Often there are no answers – or at least the answers are not ones that we want to hear. Accidents happens, death happens….the only answer is that it happens because that is life.

I have started to stop searching for answers to the past, but questions about the future. Questions like

  • What makes me happy and how do I want to spend the rest of my life?
  • What are the 3 things that I am going to do in the next 2 months to move my  rainbowl1.jpg life forward?
  • How would our lost spouse want me to honour his/her memory?

By turning from the past to the future you are giving yourself hope, aspirations, motivations to find a new life. As I always say, a new life does not mean leaving the memories behind but carrying them with you.

Good way to celebrate the life of lost dear one is creation of online memorial or obituary with photos , biography and memories.Visitors will be able to state condolences , virtual candles and flowers.
