Widows Quest

Celebrate the memories

Thanksgiving is such a difficult time – here are some ways that help me and I hope they will help you

Tip for children – get them to make a decoration to honour their parents memory.

Honour their memory by putting on the colour or outfit that they loved you in.

Arrange your photos – make sure they are still part of the family.

Nature is a wonderful comfort. Did your spouse have a favourite flower or buy you certain flowers? If so buy a bunch to remember and also fill the house with a lovely smell.

Know that their love still decorates the house, they may not be their in person but their love lives on.

Stories of happy times will fill the house with laughter.
