Control your depression

February 28, 2007 by Anna Farmery

I have noticed that what I watch on the television and listen to, really affects my mood. You can often almost feed your depression and grief by watching tear jerker films or sad music. What I find is that if I do that, it feeds the depression and my desire to cry and feel down.sunset.jpg What I find more productive is to watch uplifting stories, stories of hope and achievement. Stories and music that feeds the positive not the negative. I now am really careful about what I choose so that I am controlling my depression, instead of letting the depression control me.
