Conveying Feelings Through Songs

I come from a family that always struggled to convey feelings…embarrassed to hug each other when we left, kind of thing. That is why songs have always been a big part of my life. I can put a song on and listen to the words and really connect with the message. I always seem to have music on in the house, it gives me a feeling of comfort – I don’t feel so alone. Quietness makes me think too much, quietness brings on a depression….music lifts my mood. Have you ever noticed how a high energy song can lift your mood? Or a slow, gentle one can help you sleep…..music is the one thing that has remained constant in my life!
If you feel alone or down…try putting on a little music…see if it helps boost your energy I can highly recommend “It’s My Life” by Bon Jovi to raise spirits!
