I was fortunate to speak to the wonderful Dr Ellen Weber about how the brain works and motivation – what a wonderful lady. You can hear our interview – she dedicated to the memory of my father – at my Enagaging Brand podcast site you will want Show 67 and Show 68
I have been looking at her site as she excited me about learning more about how the brain works, how to look after it – important as Dad died of dementia – and came across this
article that she wrote on depression and learning.
One phrase “depressed people often lack images that secure, comfort and console” made a real connection with me. When you are grieving you feel so alone, so insecure about your future. The more we understand why, the more that we can take action to help. Hope you like the insight and motivates you to understand and care for your an incredibly vital part of you – your best friend – your brain.
