I thought that before when you've quoted him. My mother said something similar (not quite as eloquently):"It's been a great ride." And my dear Michael had no regrets. He really did embrace life even when his body was failing him. He used to quote some philospher (I'll have to find out who said this): "Life is a present that so many people do not unwrap."
