Facing Lifes Problems

In the UK we have had some snow – not blizzards or mass snow, just some snow. Yet it has caused so many problems such as my internet being down and therefore I have come to the library to get on line.

It seems that grief has affected my tolerance to problems! I must work on facing the problems in a positive way. Does anyone else feel like that? The fact that there is a gap – your best friend is no longer there to help, or even to listen means that you see the problems much bigger than they are….

So this morning I took myself aside and said “OK so these are the problems, they are not going to change so what positive steps can you take to stop them affecting your life?”

Shortly afterwards I got on my bus and set off to the library. Just taking some action has helped me face the problem in a more positive way…I think that is often just what it takes. You don’t need to solve all lifes problems just take one step towards a solution…

Anna, this is a brilliant post that applies to all areas of life. Business problems, bill-paying problems, school problems, personal problems, it doesn’t make any difference. You have to take the first step.

Mike – You are right….life is life. It is like grief is hard no matter what causes it..loss comes in many ways breakdown of relationships, loss of job, loss of confidence etc I think too often we try and separate our lives into business and personal and yet you can’t…
