I am still at the hospital awaiting tests today, however I am surrounded by some wonderful people – and many of whom are on their own after the losing their husbands. It has been heart warming listening to the stories and also asking for some tips on how we can all cope with our grief.Today I was talking to Connie who lost her husband 2 years ago to cancer.  I asked her for some advice to share and she said“Talk more than you think you should, talk more than you think you want to. But when you talk, talk in a positive way about the life you shared and the life that you are going to enjoy in a different way now.oldwomanonbike.jpgYou may not feel positive but the more you talk about it in a positive way, the more it feels possible and the more it feels possible – the more probable it becomes!”Connie is in her 80’s, just had quite a major operation and yet, is so positive about life. Wow, another icon of hope for us all.
