Each Friday I try and gather posts to help those who are suffering a bereavement and at the same time have money worries. Often we are just unprepared for death and the burden of making ends meet can really not help the depression. So here are a few tips

GP presents Winterizing Simply posted at Innside Innkeeping – Montana Country Style, saying, “If you live in a cold climate, reducing your home’s energy use for heating can save more energy than anything else. Without making an investment in a new heating system, here are some little things you can do that will give you big savings.”
Mr Credit Card presents Cash Back Credit Card Guide posted at Ask Mr Credit Card’s Blog.
Storm presents A dollar saved is a dollar earnedposted at Watch Me Become A Millionaire, saying, “I make it a point to incorporate the expression “a dollar saved is a dollar earned” into my life. There are many great opportunities everywhere to save money if one is only to look.”
Storm presents Make coffee at home and save money posted at Watch Me Become A Millionaire, saying, “I will be the first person to admit that I will occasionally go and spend around $4 for a latte at a coffee place. In order for me to achieve my ultimate goal of financial independence, I have to curtail this activity somewhat. But again, going to extremes on any matter is usually, in my opinion, not a productive thing to do.”
Jesse Moran presents 5 “Cheap” Date Ideas to Keep Your Date and Money Happy posted at CompGifts – The Frugal Way of Living.
Tezza presents Should You Get Rid Of High-Interest Debt Before You Start Saving posted at 4 Eva Young, saying, “When it comes to debt elimination, it is often easier to face the problem by trying to dig yourself out of debt instead of facing your reasons why you are in debt to begin with. If all you focus on is debt elimination by gritting your teeth and embarking on a disciplined debt repayment schedule you will eventually pay off all your debt but you would have missed a vital opportunity to face your current causes of why you get yourself into these kind of predicaments to begin with.”
Dan Johnson presents The Pitfalls of Credit Cards for People with Bad Credit posted at Credit Cards That Pay.
Jesse Moran presents How to Get Rid of Credit Card Debt posted at CompGifts – The Frugal Way of Living.
Bonnie Krueger presents What To Look For When Consolidating Debt To Improve Your Credit posted at Student Loan Consolidation.
Ryan Russell presents Go “Outside The Box” for Great Holiday Gifts posted at My Money Thinks, saying, “For these people (and anyone else), a little creativity and imagination will go a long way when shopping for holiday gifts”
