Widows Quest

Living Memories

Finding ways of remembering our loved ones is an important way of grieving. My friend Lucy had a beautiful way of doing this….cloudsunset.jpg

Her husband loved gardening and she built a garden in her local community in his name. There are play items for the children, beautiful flowers for the gardeners and 2 benches for people to sit and ponder. Lucy goes there when she wants to be close to her husband and finds it a real comfort.

She built it with her friends and therefore it did not cost a huge amount but the joy is endless.

A living memorial like a garden, a funding of a scholarship, or a prize is a wonderful way of remembering the joy people brought to the world.
