Love never leaves you…especially at Xmas

I went to see my Nana yesterday…a thriving 96 year old who I love very much..she is so precious to me, I dread the day I can’t see her smile, I can’t hear her humour, I can’t feel her hug. ![]()
I asked her what she was hoping that Santa would bring her…she looked at me and said “As always the impossible, your Bronco” Bronco was my nickname for her husband my grandad who died 15 years ago. She misses him every day, she has never lost her love for the only man that ever held her heart. Time goes by but the love never leaves….but is she happy, yes. She was surronded by her friends at the home she lives in, playing dominoes like a 8 year old who didn’t want to lose..cheering when she won a round. Bronco would be proud….by the side of her is my wonderful mum.
