Mum is sleeping again

My mum is staying with me at the moment and she has had difficulty sleeping through the night since my dad died. Since
she has been with me, she has not got up before 9am! I asked her why she thought that was and she said “Because someone else is in the house, I feel safe”
Humans are funny creatures…we have this need to feel safe, and this shows how using our family around can really help provide that bit of comfort that we didn’t even know we wanted. Since my loss, my mum has become even more important…somehow she is even more precious and yes I am scared of losing her. But one thing for sure I am going to have no regrets, and make every moment special with her.
