Start of a New Year

It is important that we keep giving ourselves something to look forward to, so maybe with it being the New Year we should be thinking of booking a holiday. Now finances may be tight so what about a camping trip, or stay with friends to cut down the cost?
Holidays are important to get you away from the constant reminders, I know often we don’t want to go but it is important to keep living. I am not sure what to do, I think I may take my mum away again this year that way together we can smile, laugh and yet….understand.![]()

I am planning a holiday south in March. I can’t tell you how much I am looking forward to it. I am going with my cousin and an aunt. We are looking at Mexico as a possibility. We are having a terrible winter here in London, Ontario and I can’t wait to feel warm again.
This will be the first time I have ever been on this type of holiday without my husband. I think it will not only be good to feel warm but also to find out that I can do things like this without him. I am also looking forward to connecting with my aunt and cousin. As you said one has to go on living.
I’m glad Leslie, I think we should all have something to look forward to. I know it took me a while and it really helped as it got me away, when I came back initially it was hard but I know I had fresh memories that helped tremendously. I love the fact you are going with someone as that helps too…hope we hear all about it
