Yesterday I posted about the anniversary of my Dad’s death and as normal you have all been wonderful with your words of comfort. When I was writing a reply to Mary, I said

“Oh Mary,……..but in achieving all that, I sacrificed time with the man who will always be my inspiration. …..Oh Mary why do we have to have hindsight afterwards!!!!”

Afterwards I was thinking about life in general and knowing that life would have been so much better if

I had foresight to see what was going to happen!

I had the ability to see my hindsight at the time of the initial events!

With foresight I would have spent more time with Dad, with hindsight at the time (!) I would have appreciated his influence on my life and told him before it was too late.

If we can learn one thing it is that we can have foresight and hindsight now…..by treasuring those close to us and knowing that nothing is more important that valuing those around us and making time for those we love. The more we allow love in, the more we value love in our lives then I believe the more we will feel part of a loving world and be able to cope with our grief.

Healing and growth is no exception. In this essay I employ a system of classifying your emotions, to help you see where you are in your journey and what’s next in your evolution.”

Chris Edgar presents The Essential Breath posted at Purpose Power Coaching, saying, “When we breathe shallowly, as many of us do, and our bodies are hungry for oxygen, it’s no wonder we suffer from a nagging sense of incompleteness, a constant feeling that we need something more to make us whole. But when we completely allow our natural breathing process to operate, a feeling of peace and wholeness comes over us, and the sense that something is missing disappears.”

A downloadable poster of the quote is included.”

Yesterday, in the UK Staff nurse Colin Norris was sentenced for 4 murders and an attempted murder. The reports says

Yesterday, in the UK Staff nurse Colin Norris was sentenced for 4 murders and an attempted murder. The reports says

“During his campaign of murder he believed he could kill with impunity, claiming four “frail and helpless” victims within six months by injecting them with lethal doses of insulin.”

Wow, this story really affects me as when you are in hospital – as I was at Christmas and due to go in again soon – you are in the hands of experts and trust in the care that you receive. Now I know that this is an exception and not the rule but I cannot imagine how the families cope with the grief. Their family member was taken away from them early, and so needlessly.

My heart goes out to the families, no words can help but let’s hope that we can help build a better society that ensures all of us are cared for in our hour of need. Do you sometimes wonder what makes people want to kill, want to take someone’s life? I know we will never really understand but we can understand the pain it causes..
