It is my mum’s birthday today, so she is staying with me and I remain so proud of the way she has coped since Dad died. Her health has not been wonderful but she is really trying to piece together a new life. She is 77 today and could so easily have said “I have nothing left to live for”. However she has
Joined a local village group that meets each Thursday for coffee.
Started to play bowls.
Been on a couple of cruises – Dad didn’t really like the idea of cruises so this is a real treat for her.
