More Personalised Funeral Ideas

On Widows Quest I often say how I want my funeral to be a celebration of my life not a morbid affair which upsets my nearest and dearest. I want to find my own “perfect” funeral so that no one has to worry about arrangements when I am gone, or wonder what I would have wanted. Isn’t it strange how being ill, makes you think about your own mortality?

The World Feels Full of Death

I look at Burma, I look at the earthquake in China, I look at the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, I look at the seemingly nonsensical killings on our streets….death seems to surround us. There is part of me that sees the world almost getting used to death on a large scale….then there is another side that says we will never get used to death.
