Facing the Future

I heard this quote today which made me smile as I think it is a lovely idea and one that can help us through our grief
“If you can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel, stand up and turn it on yourself”
Think I may put that on my fridge!

Don’t Let Grief Stop YOU, From Being You

I was lucky enough last week to meet a truly inpirational lady. Roz Savage is not just sitting back and allowing life to happen she is creating her own future. She is – would you believe – rowing the Pacific Ocean, well what else do you do when you have already rowed the Atlantic!
She helped me see through the darkness and see that 2009 was a year in which we could all define our success, our own happiness and she sent me this quote from Chidinma Obietikponah

A Thought on Life

“I don’t want to get to the end of my life and find that I have just lived the length of it. I want to have lived the width of it as well”
On those dark days, the days when you are battling against the depression all widows and widowers feel…then think about this quote. We have loved, we have lost…..in rebuilding our life we need to think of the width as well as the length of our life’s journey.
