I often get asked “How do I feel better?”
Oh, I so wish that there was an easy answer and there isn’t…..but there is one thing that can make a big difference…..SMILE.
S= Smiling is wonderfully contagious…the more you smile, the more people smile at you…the more happier you feel.
M= Make sure that you smile at yourself in the mirror….look and say into the mirror “You are doing so well, you will get through this because you deserve to be happy”

A smile is a wonderful tool when you are facing grief. Sounds a little silly I know, however a smile can make you feel a lot better, even if for a few moments. It helps those around you, it helps you. Smiling can seem wrong, you can feel guilty about smiling when you have lost someone so special but smile as you read this post – feel the difference it makes. Somehow you feel more relaxed, you feel better. It gives you that bit of extra strength to cope with the feelings of depression.
