If losing someone is this painful why do humans love at all?
Isn’t it strange how you can lose the power of your senses but still feel and show love?
True love is not that romantic love at all, true love is an unwavering, unconditional state of the heart which loves from the soul not the eyes.

I once heard someone in a film talking about love and describing true love as someone
“who helps you to reach beyond yourself” and who sees you “more truly than anyone else ever has or ever will“.
I love those words and believe in our time of grief we can pull on that love – because in getting through the bereavement we need to reach beyond what we think we are capable of…..but remember that love, their love which encouraged you to think and achieve more than you ever thought yourself capable of..

I was thinking today that love can be defined in so many ways and yet maybe true love is special because it…..
“allows the other person to be themselves and to be free“
Within that freedom love grows because you are together because you want to be together ?
So in grief maybe we should not see it as being apart but still allowing our true love to the free?
