Ten Ways to Ease a Broken Heart

Here are 10 ways I have found, feel free to add to these ideas

  1. Invite friends round and hold a dinner – your spouse’s favourite food – and relive memories.
  2. Create a memory book – with special photos, places
  3. Make a donation in their name
  4. Visit a place that was special to both of you and have a picnic
  5. Write a letter to them, telling them about how the family is growing
  6. Volunteer to help others
  7. Listen to uplifting music
  8. Keep a special jumper and wear it while watching TV
  9. Talk about them to others
  10. Create a living memorial such as a garden or a tree planting
