The Health vs Wealth Crisis Question

No news yet on the patient but I am doing well – thank you for all your well wishes.I have been reading loads of newspapers and magazines whilst lying on this hospital bed. I keep seeing the word crisis sprawled across every page. Now don’t get me wrong I understand that a global finanacial meltdown would be HUGE….but somehow I feel uncomfortable with the word crisis.Maybe I just associate a crisis with a more personal than global problem? Is that what death does, change your perspective on the world and make you see things differently? I think it has for me – for me health will always come ahead of wealth, life will always come ahead of money.

For me the loss of your partner, the loss of your own health ……that is what really matters in this world. I have lost a job in the past and that hurt, I didn’t know where my next penny was coming from…but you know I could work hard to overcome

 that….for me health and death are so often outside of your control and that is why I find them the real crisis in this world.
