Widows Quest

We Need Laughter Through Grief

February 19, 2008 by Anna Farmery

I think we can often feel guilty about enjoying our lives, guilty about laughing but laughing is an important part of anyone’s life. Take a look at these quotes

“Mirth is God’s medicine. Everybody ought to bathe in it.” ~ Henry Ward Beecher

“Laughter is the sun that drives winter from the human face.” ~ Victor Hugo

“The most wasted of all days is one without laughter.” ~ E.E.   Cummings

Laughter enables the positive chemicals in our body to circulate, it2girlstakingphoto.jpg really is the best medicine. Laughter never means that we are forgetting our lost loved ones, it does not mean we are not grieving…it means that we are human.
