Widows Quest

What death teaches us

December 19, 2007 by Anna Farmery

We have unfortunately all known people who have been in an accident or a serious illness and recovered to tell the tale. We have also all known the impact of death, the loss of aartistatdoor.jpg loved human being from our lives. What do these 2 events tell us..that life is so very precious, that we should value life more each day as a gift that we receive from the world.

It makes me think of how to use our life before facing death makes us think differently. Here are 3 thoughts that I believe we should ask ourselves

How do you want to change your life for the better?

Do you spend enough time with the people that you care about?

What would you value in life?

What do you want to change about yourself?

How can I make that change and take that first step towards bringing more value to both my life and that of others?

  1. Anna, I love your writings about the grieving process. Our family has gone through many deaths in the last few years. Christmas is hard when you are grieving.
I have just written about something that we have found very healing:

Wishing you all good things, and blessings,
