Thank you for making this such a special week, my mum has been reading through all your memorial posts and through her tears (!) she thought they were so heart warming – she said Dad would be proud of finding a way of helping others through their grief. So here are some more

What a wonderful of remembering someone…I also got this email from Laura who says

It is great that you are honoring your dad on his birthday, today. I also lost my father, many years ago, and his birthday is also this month..You will no doubt be remembering all the many things that made your father so special. That is a wonderful thing. I am searching for good ways to honor my parents’ memories so that they are not forgotten.
One of my very fondest memories of my mother is when I was really small, still in a stroller. Mom was pushing me along the sidewalk, and sometimes she would push me so hard and fast that I would actually be going faster than she was, for just a few seconds. She would let go of the stroller’s handle briefly, shout, “WHEEEEE!!” and then grab back onto it, laughing all the while. She seemed so carefree and happy, and so glad to be shari
ng these moments with her children. ”
