Widows Quest

You Find Out More About Your Friends

Before my bereavement, I thought I knew the friends that I could rely on, the friends that would be there for me…I don’t know about you, but one thing I found was that people surprise you.Summer Trees Reaching to the Sky

One of my closest friends now, is someone who was not a close friend before my grief.  She put herself out, checked in on me….listened….came and got me out….was basically there for me throughout. Other friends, maybe because they did not know how to act, went “missing”

I truly believe that in hard times you find out your true   friends….these people don’t necessarily say much…they listen and are there for you. If you have a friend that is going through bereavement, make sure you reach out in their time of need.

Don’t be scared about what to say, the words don’t matter…it is the friendship that is important.
